Mix with a drill and paddle to a creamy slurry and apply evenly by brush or roller, avoiding ponding. Only prime an area you can cover with mortar or concrete within the primer's working time. Place the mortar onto the wet or tacky primer; if the primer dries it must be scratched and reapplied. On concrete repairs, apply two coats to dry reinforcing steel and one coat to the damp concrete. When bedding bricks, brick slips, kerbs or paviours, prime both the back of the unit and the substrate. Follow the datasheet for the mortar being applied as well.
