Product Description
Mapei 704 is a liquid latex additive designed to improve the flexibility, adhesion and water resistance of cementitious screed mixes, levelling compounds and tile adhesives. When used as a partial or full replacement for mixing water, it enhances bond strength on difficult substrates and increases the overall durability of the finished installation.

Application
Use as a partial or full replacement for mixing water according to the host product's technical datasheet. Pour the required amount of 704 into the mixing bucket, then gradually add the powder component while mixing with a drill and paddle until smooth. Do not add extra water beyond the specified ratio. Apply at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C.
Coverage
Dosage varies by product — refer to the specific Mapei product datasheet. Typical usage is 2–5 litres per 25 kg bag of levelling compound or adhesive. One 10 kg container treats approximately 2–5 bags depending on the application.
