Product Description
Tekcem Premium Screeding Cement is a high-strength 52.5N Portland cement blended with synthetic fibres, specifically formulated for sand and cement screed applications. The fibre reinforcement reduces the risk of early-age plastic cracking, delivering stronger, more durable screeds suitable for domestic and commercial floor build-ups.
Key Benefits
Application
Mix with sharp sand and water at a ratio of approximately 1:3 to 1:4 (cement:sand) depending on strength requirements. Add approximately 10 litres of water per 25 kg bag (adjust for damp sand). Mix thoroughly to ensure even fibre distribution. Lay and compact the screed using standard screeding techniques.
Coverage
At a 1:3 mix ratio and 50 mm thickness, one 25 kg bag covers approximately 1.5 m². At 40 mm thickness, approximately 1.9 m² per bag. Coverage varies with mix ratio and application depth.
