Building A Band of Brothers
Product Description
ARDEX SK-M 15/30 is a TRICOM seal collar for waterproofing pipe penetrations with an external diameter of 15–30 mm. Made from a thin, stretchable coated polypropylene fleece with an elastic centre section that pulls over the pipe, it embeds into ARDEX liquid sealing compounds to give a flexible, watertight seal around pipes in walls and floors, indoors and out. Supplied in boxes of 25.
Key Benefits
Application
Prepare the surface in line with the technical data sheet for the ARDEX sealing compound being used. Apply the first coat of sealing compound around the pipe, push the collar over the pipe into the fresh compound and press it down firmly with a smoothing trowel or spatula. Use the same sealing compound as the main waterproofing; with ARDEX SK 100 W membrane, embed the collars in ARDEX 8 + 9 or ARDEX S7 PLUS W. Overlap adjoining sealing set parts by approx. 5 cm, then cover the collar with the second coat of the waterproofing system. Do not use in direct contact with solvent-based waterproofing or adhesives.
Coverage
One collar per pipe penetration (15–30 mm external diameter). Each box contains 25 collars.
