Product Description
Jablite EPS70 is a closed-cell expanded polystyrene (EPS) insulation board designed for use in domestic floor build-ups where standard compressive strength is sufficient. Providing reliable thermal performance and ease of installation, EPS70 is widely used beneath sand and cement screeds, liquid screeds, and concrete slabs.
Key Benefits
Application
Lay EPS70 boards directly onto a clean, level sub-base over a suitable DPM. Butt joints tightly together and stagger board joints in successive layers. Install a polythene slip membrane over the insulation before screeding. Minimum screed thickness over insulation varies by screed type — consult the screed manufacturer for guidance.
Coverage
Each board measures 2400 mm × 1200 mm (2.88 m² per board). Available in thicknesses from 25 mm to 150 mm. Thermal conductivity is 0.038 W/mK across all thicknesses. Calculate the number of boards based on floor area, allowing for cutting waste of approximately 5%.
