Product Description
Tekcem 550 Fibre Plus is a rapid-setting, fibre-reinforced, shrinkage-compensated self-levelling compound for heavy-duty floor preparation. Suitable for application from 5 mm to 50 mm in a single pour, it provides a smooth, flat surface ready for floor coverings in as little as 3 hours for tiles and 24 hours for most other finishes.
Key Benefits
Application
Mix approximately 5.8 litres of water per 25 kg bag (hand mixing) or 5.5 litres when pump mixing. Pour onto a primed substrate and spread to the required thickness using a gauge rake. De-aerate with a spiked roller. The material self-levels to a smooth finish. Apply at substrate and ambient temperatures between 5 °C and 30 °C.
Coverage
Approximately 1.6 m² per 25 kg bag at 10 mm thickness; 0.8 m² at 20 mm; 0.4 m² at 40 mm; 0.32 m² at 50 mm. Calculate total bag quantity based on floor area and required thickness.
