Product Description
Tekgrip is a polymer-modified cementitious bonding screed designed for use as a bonding layer between substrates and cementitious screeds. Supplied in 25kg bags, it creates a strong mechanical and chemical bond that ensures the screed adheres securely to the substrate, preventing delamination and hollow spots.
Key Benefits
Application
Mix Tekgrip with clean water to a slurry consistency. Apply evenly to the prepared and primed substrate using a stiff brush or trowel. Lay the screed directly into the wet bonding slurry — do not allow the Tekgrip to dry before screeding. Ensure the substrate is clean, mechanically prepared, and free from contaminants prior to application. Do not apply below 5°C.
Coverage
Approximately 3–5kg per m² depending on substrate texture and application method. The 25kg bag covers approximately 5–8m².
