Product Description
Vertex Micropropylene 6 mm Screed Fibres are short polypropylene microfibres designed to be added to cementitious screed mixes to reduce plastic shrinkage cracking and improve impact resistance. The fibres distribute evenly throughout the mix, providing three-dimensional reinforcement that controls early-age cracking. Supplied as 10 bags of 0.9 kg each.
Key Benefits
Application
Add fibres to the screed mix during the mixing process. They can be added directly to the mixer with the dry ingredients or sprinkled into the wet mix. Mix for a minimum of 3 minutes to ensure even fibre distribution. Standard dosage is 0.9 kg per m³ of screed. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Compatible with sand–cement, rapid-drying and modified screeds.
Coverage
Standard dosage: 0.9 kg per m³ of screed. One 0.9 kg bag treats 1 m³ of screed mix. The 10-bag pack treats approximately 10 m³ of screed.
