Product Description
ARDEX A 18 is a green, cement-based powder that is mixed with water to produce a bonding slurry for ARDEX Screed Cements. The slurry changes colour as it dries, showing whether it is still open to receive the screed. For internal and external use, including swimming pools.
Key Benefits
Application
Mix approx. 5.75 litres of clean water per 25 kg bag (3 parts powder to 1 part water by volume) to a smooth, lump-free slurry. Brush onto the prepared substrate to a minimum thickness of 1.5mm, then place and compact the screed fresh in fresh while the slurry is still dark green. Once it turns light green (after approx. 15 minutes) it has dried and must be reapplied. Apply above 5°C.
Coverage
Approx. 1.5 kg/m² per mm thickness, about 11.1 m² at 1.5mm per 25 kg bag.
