Product Description
ARDEX P 51 is a concentrated, blue, water-based, solvent-free primer and bonding agent for floors, walls and ceilings. Diluted with water to suit the substrate, it controls suction, minimises air bubbles and improves adhesion for ARDEX levelling compounds, tile adhesives and screeds.
Key Benefits
Application
Shake well and dilute with water at the ratio for the substrate, from 1:½ up to 1:5, or undiluted on timber floors. Apply evenly with a soft broom or brush and leave to dry to a clear, thin blue film before further work. Apply above 5°C.
Coverage
Approx. coverage per 5kg of ARDEX P 51: 25m² undiluted or at 1:½, 33m² at 1:1, 60m² at 1:2, 100m² at 1:3 and 160m² at 1:5. Varies with substrate roughness and absorbency.
