ARDITEX CL is a latex levelling and smoothing compound with excellent flow and application properties, supplied as a kit of 20 kg powder and 4.5 kg liquid latex. It is for smoothing and levelling most common internal subfloors, concrete, cement/sand and gypsum (anhydrite) screeds, from a feathered edge up to 10 mm in one application, or up to 30 mm with ARDEX Coarse Aggregate.

Application

Prime first: ARDEX P 51 on absorbent surfaces such as concrete and cement/sand screeds, ARDEX P 4 on dense or impervious surfaces. Gypsum screeds must be dry (below 0.5% CM or 75% RH) and suitably primed. Shake the latex, pour it into a clean container and add the 20 kg of powder while stirring with a paddle and drill. Working time is approx. 20 minutes at 20°C. Pour onto the primed subfloor and spread to the required thickness with a trowel or ARDEX Pin Leveller; a spiked roller improves the finish. Apply at above 5°C and rising. Over ARDEX DPMs or MVS 95, do not exceed 6 mm.

Approximately 5 m² per kit at a typical smoothing thickness of 2–3 mm. Bulk density of fresh mortar approx. 1.9 kg/litre.
