Flowcrete Isocrete 4000 is a hand-applied, quick-hardening self-levelling screed designed for levelling and smoothing floors from 0 mm to 50 mm where rapid drying is essential. With a compressive strength of 30 N/mm², it is suitable for offices, dwellings, public buildings, schools, hospitals and similar areas, and must be covered with a floor finish as it is not intended to be a wearing surface.

Application

Prime the substrate with the appropriate Isocrete primer and allow to dry. Mix one 25 kg bag with approximately 4.5–4.8 litres of clean water using a forced-action mixer until smooth. Pour onto the prepared floor and spread with a gauging trowel. Use a spiked roller to release trapped air. Apply at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C.

Coverage

Approximately 1.6 kg/m² per mm thickness. One 25 kg bag covers approximately 15.6 m² at 1 mm, 3.1 m² at 5 mm, or 0.4 m² at 40 mm thickness.
