Flowcrete Isocrete M-Bond (red) is a 2-pack, solvent-free epoxy bonding agent for bonding concrete, cementitious screeds and polymer-modified cementitious screeds to concrete, particularly Isocrete K-Screed, Isocrete Fast-K Screed, Isocrete Screedfast and Isocrete Isogran. It is applied as a single coat, and is also used as the first coat of the two-coat M-Bond Extra damp-proofing system.

Application

The substrate must be surface dry, with no ground water pressure in the concrete. Add all of Hardener B to Base A (3:1 by weight, 2:1 by volume) and mix with a slow-speed drill and helical spinner, taking care not to entrain air. Use within 60 minutes at 20°C. Apply at material and substrate temperatures of 10–25°C (no less than 5°C), at least 3°C above dew point, and keep above 5°C for 24 hours after application. Lay the screed while the M-Bond is still fluid or tacky, do not lay onto a fully cured (tack-free) surface, as it will act as a de-bond layer. Tack free after approx. 6 hours at 20°C.
