Flowcrete Isocrete Polymer 70 is a liquid bonding agent and screed additive, an aqueous dispersion of a vinyl acetate/ethylene/vinyl chloride terpolymer. It can be used diluted as a primer, mixed with cement as a bonding grout for sand and cement screeds, K-Screed, Fast-K Screed and Screedfast, or added to screed mixes such as Isogran.

Application

For priming, dilute 1 part Polymer 70 with 3 parts water and allow to dry, more than 3 hours, typically overnight. For a bonding grout, mix diluted Polymer 70 (1:3) with cement to a creamy consistency, approx. 1 part diluted polymer to 3 parts cement by volume, and lay the screed into the grout while it is still wet. Internal air and floor temperatures must be above 5°C. Store frost-free at 5–30°C; shelf life 12 months unopened.

Coverage

Supplied as 25 kg (23.0 litres) of liquid, density approx. 1.1 kg/l. Coverage depends on the use and substrate porosity, the manufacturer’s product sheet does not give a coverage rate.
