Flowcrete Isocrete PQ is a single-component, rapid strength gaining repair mortar for horizontal and form-and-pour concrete repairs. It needs only the addition of water, is low-shrinkage and micro-fibre reinforced, and is used to repair concrete surfaces from approx. 12 mm to 150 mm thick, inside or out. It meets BS EN 1504-3 Class R4.

Application

Concrete must be structurally sound and free of loose material, dust, dirt, paint, efflorescence, oil and other contaminants, with a clean, profiled repair area. Soak the area with potable water to a saturated-surface-dry condition and prime with a scrub coat of Isocrete PQ, making the repair before the scrub coat dries. Add 2.5 litres of water per 25 kg bag, then the powder, and mix for 3 minutes; if more flow is needed add no more than 118 ml extra water and mix for a further 2 minutes. Allow approx. 30 minutes to mix, place and finish at 20°C, and apply at 5–35°C. Do not use for repairs less than 12 mm deep. Wet cure for at least one day or use a curing compound.

Coverage

Each 25 kg bag yields approx. 0.011 m³ of mortar when mixed with 2.5 litres of water, roughly 0.9 m² at 12 mm or 0.22 m² at 50 mm depth.
