Flowcrete Isocrete Self Level Base is a fast-drying, self-levelling screed for levelling concrete floors before underlayments or thick floor coverings such as carpet, ceramic tiles or wood block are installed. It is applied 3–50 mm thick by hand (7–50 mm pumped), and can be used as a levelling layer under Isocrete 1500, SL Plus or bonded SL Renovation, or on its own.

Application

Substrate should be a minimum of 25 N/mm², free from laitance, dust and contamination, and dry to 75% RH (BS 8203). Prime with Isocrete Primer at approx. 0.05 kg/m²; where RH is above 75% or there is no DPM, use Hydraseal DPM with a dry silica sand scatter. Mix one 25 kg bag with 4.5–4.8 litres of clean water. Pour onto the primed floor and spread to the required level. Lay at 5–25°C. Protect from draughts and strong sunlight for the first 24 hours, then ventilate to allow drying.

Coverage

Approximately 11.9 kg/m² at 7 mm thickness (about 1.7 kg/m² per mm). One 25 kg bag covers approx. 2.1 m² at 7 mm.
