Product Description
Jablite EPS100 is a standard-grade expanded polystyrene insulation board rated to 100 kPa compressive strength, suitable for use beneath domestic floor screeds, in cavity walls and as general-purpose thermal insulation. Available in thicknesses from 12 mm to 150 mm, it offers a cost-effective solution for meeting Building Regulations thermal requirements.
Key Benefits
Application
Lay boards on a clean, level substrate or over a DPM. Butt joints tightly and stagger in a brick-bond pattern. Tape all joints with polythene tape to prevent screed ingress. Install a polythene slip membrane over the insulation before screeding. Ensure boards are stored flat and protected from prolonged UV exposure before installation.
Coverage
Standard board size is 2400 mm × 1200 mm (2.88 m² per board). Thermal conductivity: 0.036 W/mK. Select thickness to achieve the required U-value as per Building Regulations Part L.
