Product Description
Jablite EPS150 is a high-compressive-strength expanded polystyrene insulation board rated to 150 kPa, designed for use beneath floor screeds, in car parks, industrial floors and other heavy-load applications. Available in thicknesses from 25 mm to 300 mm, it provides reliable thermal insulation while withstanding significant imposed loads.
Key Benefits
Application
Lay boards on a clean, level substrate or over a DPM. Butt joints tightly and stagger in a brick-bond pattern. Tape all joints with polythene tape to prevent screed ingress. Install a polythene slip membrane over the insulation before screeding. Ensure boards are stored flat and protected from prolonged UV exposure before installation.
Coverage
Standard board size is 2400 mm × 1200 mm (2.88 m² per board). Thermal conductivity: 0.034 W/mK. Select thickness to achieve the required U-value as per Building Regulations Part L.
