Product Description
Mannok PIR Insulation Board is a general-purpose polyisocyanurate (PIR) rigid insulation board with low-emissivity foil facings on both sides. Suitable for floors, walls and roofs, it delivers excellent thermal performance in a slim profile, helping projects meet Building Regulations Part L requirements. Available in thicknesses from 25 mm to 150 mm.
Key Benefits
Application
Cut boards to size using a fine-toothed saw or sharp knife. For floor applications, lay boards over a DPM on a clean, level substrate. Butt joints tightly and stagger in a brick-bond pattern. Tape joints with foil tape. Install a polythene slip membrane over insulation before screeding. For wall and roof applications, fix mechanically or adhesively as appropriate. Refer to manufacturer guidance for specific application details.
Coverage
Standard board size is 2400 mm × 1200 mm (2.88 m² per board). Thermal conductivity: 0.022 W/mK. R-values range from 1.13 m²K/W at 25 mm to 6.81 m²K/W at 150 mm.
