MAPEBAND PE120 ROLL, 5m - 10m
MAPEBAND PE120 ROLL, 5m - 10m
Mapeband PE120 is a high-performance, water-resistant PVC tape designed for use in waterproofing systems. It is elastic, deformable, and made from a combination of polyester mesh and PVC fabric that is impermeable to water and vapour. Ideal for use in wet areas like bathrooms, kitchens, and showers, it provides secure waterproofing at critical points such as corners and around pipework. Its resistance to alkalis, acids, and salt solutions makes it suitable for a wide range of environments.

Product Description
Mapei MAPEBAND PE120 is a flexible, thermoplastic elastomer waterproofing tape coated with non-woven polypropylene on both sides. Designed for sealing joints and transitions in wet areas, it integrates seamlessly with cementitious waterproofing systems such as Mapelastic and Mapegum. Available in 5 m and 10 m rolls.
Key Benefits
Application
Embed MAPEBAND PE120 into a fresh coat of Mapelastic or Mapegum WPS applied to the joint or transition. Press firmly with a spatula to eliminate air pockets and ensure full contact on both sides. Apply a second coat of waterproofing membrane over the tape once the first layer is touch-dry. Ensure minimum 50 mm overlap at tape joins. Apply at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C.
Coverage
Linear coverage depends on joint layout. One 10 m roll covers 10 linear metres of joints. Allow approximately 10–15% extra for overlaps at corners and junctions.
