Product Description
Mapei Topcem is a special normal-setting, rapid-drying hydraulic binder for producing fast-turnaround screeds. This bulk 1-tonne pack delivers controlled-shrinkage performance with residual moisture below 2% within just 4 days, enabling rapid flooring installation without compromising strength. Classified CT-C30-F6-A1FL under EN 13813, it is ideal for large commercial and residential projects.
Key Benefits
Application
Mix 200–250kg of Topcem with 1m³ of aggregates (0–8mm) and 120–140kg of water. Use standard concrete mixing equipment. Working time is 40–60 minutes at 20°C. Level using straight-edge methods. Light foot traffic from 12 hours; full flooring installation from 4 days.
Coverage
Consumption: 2.0–2.5 kg/m² per cm of thickness. Per 1,000kg: approximately 100–125m² at 4cm depth, or 80–100m² at 5cm depth.
