Product Description
Mapei MAPELASTIC is a two-component, flexible cementitious membrane for waterproofing concrete, render and screed surfaces. The A+B unit contains both the powder (Component A) and the liquid latex (Component B), providing crack-bridging protection for balconies, terraces, bathrooms, swimming pools and below-grade structures. Available in 16 kg and 30 kg units.

Application
Mix Component B liquid into Component A powder using a low-speed drill until a smooth, lump-free consistency is achieved. Apply the first coat by brush, roller or trowel onto a clean, sound substrate. Embed MAPEBAND tape at all joints and corners while the first coat is wet. Apply the second coat once the first is touch-dry (typically 4–6 hours). Minimum two-coat application required. Apply at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C.
Coverage
Approximately 1.7 kg/m² per coat applied at 1 mm thickness. Two coats at 2 mm total thickness give approximately 3.4 kg/m². A 30 kg unit covers roughly 8–9 m² in two coats.
