Pliteq GenieMat FF25 is a 25 mm thick recycled rubber acoustic floating floor mat designed to provide superior impact and airborne sound insulation beneath screeds and concrete toppings. Its high-density composition delivers exceptional acoustic performance, helping multi-storey residential and commercial buildings meet stringent Building Regulations Part E requirements. Each roll covers 5.58 m² (1.22 m × 4.57 m).
Key Benefits
Application
Lay mats on a clean, level substrate with edges butted tightly together. Bond joints with Pliteq GenieBoard Glue to prevent screed ingress. Turn up at perimeters by a minimum of 50 mm or use in conjunction with perimeter edge strips. Install a polythene slip membrane over the mats before pouring liquid screed. Minimum screed depth as per screed system manufacturer guidance.
Coverage
Each roll covers 5.58 m² (1.22 m × 4.57 m × 25 mm). Allow approximately 5% extra for trimming and overlaps at joints.
