Product Description
Pliteq GenieBoard 301 is a 20 mm thick universal acoustic board made from high-density gypsum fibre, designed as a dry alternative to a poured screed, laid on top of GenieMat in multi-storey buildings. Thinner than the 302 variant, it provides excellent impact and airborne sound insulation where build-up height is more constrained. The rigid board format (1500 × 500 mm) is easy to handle and install.
Key Benefits
Application
Lay boards over GenieMat on a clean, level substrate, connecting the 50 mm shiplap joints. Bond joints with Pliteq GenieBoard Glue and fix with screws or staples at 200 mm centres. Stagger boards in a brick-bond pattern. Use perimeter edge strips. No screed is required: floor finishes are installed directly on the boards.
Coverage
Each board covers 0.75 m² (1500 mm × 500 mm × 20 mm). Allow approximately 5% extra for trimming and cutting waste.
