Product Description
Pliteq GenieBoard 302 is a 25 mm thick universal acoustic board made from recycled rubber, designed for use as a resilient layer beneath screeds in multi-storey buildings. It provides excellent impact and airborne sound insulation while supporting heavy floor loads. The rigid board format (1500 × 500 mm) is easy to handle and install compared to rolled products.
Key Benefits
Application
Lay boards on a clean, level substrate with edges butted tightly together. Bond joints with Pliteq GenieBoard Glue. Stagger boards in a brick-bond pattern. Turn up at perimeters by a minimum of 50 mm or use perimeter edge strips. Install a polythene slip membrane over the boards before pouring liquid screed. Minimum screed depth as per screed system manufacturer guidance.
Coverage
Each board covers 0.75 m² (1500 mm × 500 mm × 25 mm). Allow approximately 5% extra for trimming and cutting waste.
