Product Description
Pliteq GenieBoard Glue is a high-tack adhesive specifically formulated for bonding Pliteq GenieMat and GenieBoard acoustic underlayment products to substrates and to each other. It provides a strong, permanent bond that maintains the acoustic integrity of the floor system by ensuring the resilient layers remain securely in position.
Key Benefits
Application
Apply an even coat of adhesive to the substrate using a notched trowel or roller. Allow to become tacky (typically 5–15 minutes depending on conditions) before positioning the GenieMat or GenieBoard product. Press firmly into the adhesive to ensure full contact. Butt edges tightly together. Allow to cure fully before applying screed or floor coverings. Apply at temperatures between +5°C and +30°C.
Coverage
Approximately 200–300 g/m² depending on substrate porosity and trowel notch size. Refer to Pliteq technical guidance for specific product recommendations.
