Product Description
Rhinoplast High Tack Girth Tape is a single-sided, reinforced adhesive tape engineered for securing and sealing DPM and vapour barrier joints. Featuring cross-weave fibreglass reinforcement, this 72mm wide tape delivers exceptional adhesion and tear resistance, even in damp construction environments. Ideal for sealing overlaps and securing membranes to walls during screeding.
Key Benefits
Application
Ensure DPM joint surfaces are clean and free from dust or contamination. Position tape over the membrane overlap (minimum 150mm) and apply firm hand pressure to achieve full adhesion. Typically used in conjunction with double-sided tape between DPM sections to seal the outer flap and prevent screed ingress.
Coverage
72mm wide × 50m per roll. Approximately 3.6m² total coverage area, or 33–50 linear metres of sealed DPM joints depending on overlap configuration.
