RonaFloor HB200 is a FeRFA Class 3, two-component, solvent free high build epoxy floor coating for concrete and polymer modified screeds. It gives excellent abrasion resistance on floors with medium duty traffic, such as regular footfall, fork trucks and occasional hard plastic wheeled trolleys. A two-coat application gives a cured dry film of approx. 0.4 mm with a gloss finish, supplied in a range of standard RAL colours.

Application

The substrate must be sound, clean and dry: below 75% RH (or under 5% moisture content), with new concrete or screeds left at least 28 days. Prepare by captive shot blasting, clean and vacuum, to a pull-off strength over 1.5 N/mm². Seal porous concrete first with RonaFloor Epoxy Primer. Pre-mix the pigmented Part A, add the full Part B and mix with a slow speed drill and spiral paddle for approx. 3 minutes, then transfer to a clean container. Pour onto the floor, spread with a squeegee and roller to the final thickness; working time approx. 25 minutes. Apply a minimum of two coats, 16–24 hours apart. For slip resistance, scatter RonaFloor A/S Aggregate onto the first coat at 0.5–2 kg/m², vacuum the excess once cured and encapsulate with the second coat. Full chemical cure takes 7 days; keep it away from water for 7 days. Ideally apply at 15–25°C; minimum 5°C. Check the manufacturer's datasheet before use.

Coverage

0.25–0.30 kg/m² per coat, minimum 2 coats. A 5 kg unit covers approx. 16–20 m² per coat. Coverage of the second coat is reduced over slip resistant aggregate.
