Product Description
RonaFloor Repair 1 Hour 6-50mm is an ultra-rapid, thin section polymer modified floor repair and bedding mortar, supplied as a 22.9 kg bag with 2.1 litres of gauging liquid. After 1 hour at 20°C it is strong enough for foot traffic, and for light vehicle traffic after 2 hours. It is used for patch repairs to concrete slabs where rapid strength gain is needed, or where low temperatures rule out standard set mortars, and for bedding kerbs, paving and copings. Suitable for medium duty use from 6–10 mm and heavy duty use from 12 mm.
Key Benefits
Application
Saw cut the repair perimeter to a vertical edge of at least 6 mm and break out so a minimum repair thickness of 6 mm is achieved throughout. Mechanically abrade the concrete, clean off grease and oil and vacuum. Wet the surface with clean water, remove standing water and prime the damp substrate with Ronacrete Rapid Primer (sold separately). Mix close to the repair with a slow speed 1 kW drill and MR4 helical paddle, pouring the supplied gauging liquid into the mixing vessel and gradually adding the powder. Working time is approx. 10–15 minutes. Trowel onto the wet or tacky primer, compact and close the surface, then protect until hard (typically 1 hour at 20°C). For large repair areas or volumes, contact Ronacrete's Technical Department, as larger repairs can suffer thermal cracking. Check the manufacturer's datasheet before use.
Coverage
Per 25 kg pack: approx. 1.8 m² at 6 mm, 1.1 m² at 10 mm, 0.31 m² at 35 mm or 0.22 m² at 50 mm (11 litre yield; approx. 91 packs per m³).
