Product Description
RonaScreed 1 Day Overlay is a rapid-drying cement replacement binder for site-batched sand and cement screeds. Used in place of Portland cement, it produces a screed ready for suitable floor coverings after just 1 day, ideal for fast-track refurbishment and new-build work.
Key Benefits
Application
Screed (Mix 1): 20 kg RonaScreed 1 Day Overlay to 80 kg medium sharp sand (approx. 1:3 by volume), with water added for workability. Fine concrete (Mix 2): 20 kg binder, 40 kg medium sharp sand and 40 kg 10–5 mm aggregate. Lay, compact and finish as standard screed. Thicknesses over 50 mm can be laid in more than one layer. Check the manufacturer's datasheet before use.
Coverage
One 20 kg bag makes a 100 kg screed mix (Mix 1), roughly 1 m² at 50 mm thick.
