Product Description
Tekcem MVS is a two-coat moisture vapour suppressant designed for treating concrete subfloors with residual construction moisture up to 95% RH prior to the application of floor finishes. This 5kg liquid formulation penetrates and seals the pores within concrete, effectively blocking moisture transmission and protecting floor coverings from damage.
Key Benefits
Application
Ensure the concrete substrate is clean, dry, and free from contaminants. Apply Tekcem MVS evenly using a roller or brush in two coats of 0.15kg/m² each. Allow to dry fully before applying levelling compounds or adhesives, drying time varies with temperature and humidity. Do not apply below 10°C air temperature (5°C substrate) or in conditions where condensation may form.
Coverage
Approximately 0.15kg/m² per coat depending on substrate porosity. The 5kg unit covers approximately 16.7m² in a two coat application.
