Product Description
Tekcem MVS is a single-coat moisture vapour suppressant designed for treating concrete subfloors with elevated moisture levels prior to the application of floor finishes. This 5kg liquid formulation penetrates and seals the pores within concrete, effectively blocking moisture transmission and protecting floor coverings from damage.
Key Benefits
Application
Ensure the concrete substrate is clean, dry, and free from contaminants. Apply Tekcem MVS evenly using a roller or brush in a single coat. Allow to dry fully before applying levelling compounds or adhesives — drying time varies with temperature and humidity. Do not apply below 5°C or in conditions where condensation may form.
Coverage
Approximately 5–7m² per kg depending on substrate porosity. The 5kg unit covers approximately 25–35m² in a single coat application.
