Product Description
Tekcem SRS Plus is a two-component epoxy resin system designed to consolidate and repair weak, friable, or damaged sand and cement screeds. It penetrates deep into the screed matrix to rebind loose particles, restoring the surface to a condition suitable for direct tiling or floor covering installation without the need for costly screed removal and replacement.
Key Benefits
Application
Mix Part A and Part B together thoroughly. Pour the mixed resin onto the weak screed area and spread evenly using a squeegee or trowel. The resin penetrates into the screed by gravity — do not apply too thickly. Allow to cure for 24–48 hours at 20 °C before applying floor finishes or levelling compounds.
Coverage
Coverage depends on screed condition and porosity. For penetrating seal applications on weak screeds, consumption is approximately 0.4–0.8 kg/m² per coat. A 10 kg pack typically covers 12–25 m² in a single application. Severely damaged screeds may require a second coat.
