Product Description
Tekcem UFH Doorway Movement Joint is a pre-formed 80 mm wide PVC movement joint profile designed for use in liquid screed installations at doorway thresholds and where different screed bays meet. It accommodates thermal expansion and contraction from underfloor heating while providing a neat, finished transition. Supplied as 10 lengths of 900 mm each.
Key Benefits
Application
Position the movement joint profile at the doorway threshold, centred under the door line, before pouring the liquid screed. Secure in place using adhesive or by pressing into the wet screed. Ensure the top of the joint sits flush with the finished screed level. The joint should extend the full width of the doorway opening. Trim to length with a fine-toothed saw if required.
Coverage
Each length is 900 mm. One pack of 10 lengths provides 9 linear metres, typically sufficient for 10–12 standard doorway openings.
