Tekwarm UFH Gridboard EPS100 is a pre-routed expanded polystyrene insulation panel designed for underfloor heating pipe installation. The moulded grid pattern holds 16 mm UFH pipes securely at standard spacings without the need for clips or staples, combining thermal insulation and pipe retention in a single board. Standard size 2400 × 1200 mm.

Application

Lay boards over a DPM on a clean, level substrate. Butt joints tightly and stagger in a brick-bond pattern. Press UFH pipes into the pre-routed channels at the required spacing. Once all pipework is laid, install a polythene slip membrane if required and screed over the boards to the specified depth. Ensure a minimum screed cover of 25 mm above the pipe. Install perimeter edge insulation before screeding.

Coverage

Standard board size is 2400 mm × 1200 mm (2.88 m² per board). Thermal conductivity: 0.036 W/mK. Select board thickness to achieve the required U-value as per Building Regulations Part L.
