Product Description
Thermal Economics Isoedge Perimeter Strip is a combined edge insulation and compressible foam strip designed for use around the perimeter of floating screeds and underfloor heating systems. At 260 mm high, it accommodates deep screed build-ups while providing both thermal edge insulation and an isolation joint in one product. Supplied in a 50 m roll for efficient installation.
Key Benefits
Application
Fix the strip vertically around the full room perimeter before laying insulation and screed. Peel the adhesive backing and press firmly against the wall. The fold-over flap should be laid flat across the floor to overlap with the DPM or insulation. Ensure strips are butted tightly at corners with no gaps. Trim flush with the finished floor level after the screed has cured.
Coverage
One 50 m roll covers 50 linear metres of perimeter. For a typical 4 m × 5 m room (18 m perimeter), one roll covers approximately 2–3 rooms depending on layout complexity.
