Product Description
Visqueen Double Sided Jointing Tape is a 50mm wide, double-sided adhesive tape designed for bonding overlapping sheets of polyethylene damp-proof membranes (DPMs) and vapour barriers. Supplied in 10m rolls, it creates a secure bond between membrane layers for airtight and watertight joints.
Key Benefits
Application
Apply the tape along the edge of the lower membrane sheet, peel the upper backing, and press the overlapping sheet firmly onto the exposed adhesive. Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust. Smooth out any air pockets to ensure full contact. Apply at temperatures above 5°C for optimum adhesion.
Coverage
10 linear metres per roll at 50mm width. Number of rolls required depends on total joint length — calculate based on room perimeter plus any internal overlaps.
