Product Description
Gas-Resistant Foil Backed Lap Tape is a self-adhesive, aluminium foil-backed tape designed for sealing joints and overlaps in gas-resistant membranes. It provides an effective barrier against ground gases including radon and methane, maintaining the integrity of the gas membrane installation.

Application
Ensure membrane surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust and debris. Peel the backing from the tape and press firmly along the membrane joint or overlap, smoothing out any air pockets. Ensure minimum overlap as specified by the membrane manufacturer. Apply at temperatures above 5°C for optimum adhesion.
Coverage
Coverage depends on roll dimensions — refer to packaging for tape width and roll length. Calculate total requirement based on membrane joint lengths plus any pipe and service penetration details.
