Visqueen Low Permeability Gas Membrane is a flexible 0.5 mm thick thermoplastic membrane that complies with NHBC Amber 1, for low gas risk NHBC housing sites. It provides combined protection against radon, methane, CO₂, and rising damp in a single robust membrane, suitable for radon and damp proofing applications and NHBC Amber 1 housing sites.

Application

Lay the membrane across the prepared sub-base or slab with a minimum 150 mm overlap at all joints. Bond all laps with VisqueenPro Double Sided Jointing Tape and seal with Visqueen NF-60 Lap Tape. Dress membrane up at walls and around all penetrations to form a continuous gas-tight barrier. Protect from damage during subsequent construction activities.

Coverage

Each roll covers 50 m² (4 m × 12.5 m). Allow for 150 mm overlaps at all joints when calculating roll quantities. For complex floor plans, allow approximately 10–15% additional material for waste and lapping.
