Product Description
Visqueen Low Permeability Gas Membrane is a high-performance multi-layer polyethylene barrier designed for sites classified as Characteristic Situation 2 (CS2) under BS 8485. It provides combined protection against radon, methane, CO₂, and rising damp in a single robust membrane, suitable for residential, commercial, and brownfield developments.

Application
Lay the membrane across the prepared sub-base or slab with a minimum 150 mm overlap at all joints. Seal all laps using Visqueen double-sided gas-resistant jointing tape. Dress membrane up at walls and around all penetrations to form a continuous gas-tight barrier. Protect from damage during subsequent construction activities.
Coverage
Each roll covers 50 m² (4 m × 12.5 m). Allow for 150 mm overlaps at all joints when calculating roll quantities. For complex floor plans, allow approximately 10–15% additional material for waste and lapping.
