Product Description
Visqueen Single Sided Jointing Tape is a 75mm wide, pressure-sensitive adhesive tape designed for sealing overlaps and joints in polyethylene damp-proof membranes (DPMs) and vapour barriers. Supplied in 25m rolls, it ensures airtight and moisture-tight seals in floor and wall membrane installations.
Key Benefits
Application
Ensure membrane surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust. Peel the backing from the tape and press firmly along the membrane overlap or joint, smoothing out any air pockets. Ensure a minimum 50mm overlap on each side of the joint. Apply at temperatures above 5°C for optimum adhesion.
Coverage
25 linear metres per roll at 75mm width. Number of rolls required depends on total joint length — calculate based on room perimeter plus any internal joints.
