Product Description
ARDEX A 46 is a Class R2, polymer-modified, slump-free repair mortar for the rapid, non-structural repair of concrete. It sets within 30 minutes and is used for filling cracks, holes and gaps, refacing stair treads and risers, forming ramps and coves, and repairing walls, renders, soffits, beams and lintels, internally and externally.
Key Benefits
Application
Mix approx. 2.7–3 litres of clean water per 11 kg bag (1.2–1.4 litres per 5 kg) to a slump-free mortar. Apply 2–30mm; for localised repairs up to 50mm, bulk out with up to an equal volume of ARDEX Coarse Aggregate (use 10mm single-sized aggregate above 20mm). Working time approx. 15–20 minutes at 20°C. Apply above 5°C.
Coverage
Approx. 1.4 kg/m² per mm thickness — about 4 m² at 2mm per 11 kg bag, or 1.8 m² at 2mm per 5 kg bag.
