Product Description
Retanol Xtreme is a high-performance liquid screed additive from PCT Chemie for making shrinkage- and tension-reduced bonded cement screeds, screeds on insulation or separation layers, and heating screeds. It delivers extremely high early and final strengths with guaranteed workability — tiles can be laid after just 48 hours, and all other floor coverings after 72 hours.
Key Benefits
Application
Shake well before use. Add 400 ml of Retanol Xtreme to the first mixing water per standard screed pump mixture (250 l mixing vessel, at least 62.5 kg cement) = 2,000 ml/m³. Mix for a full 2 minutes, apply within 45 minutes of mixing, and finish levelling and smoothing within 60 minutes. Application temperature +5°C to max. +28°C (ambient and substrate). Never mix with other screed or mortar additives, and never exceed 500 ml (2,500 ml/m³) per mixture.
Coverage
One 20 litre container provides approximately 50 standard mixer batches — enough for roughly 10 m³ of screed (around 200 m² at 50 mm thickness) at the standard 2,000 ml/m³ dosage.
