Product Description
Tekcem Durascreed is a polymer-based screed hardening additive that transforms standard sand and cement screeds into high-strength Cat A, C40, F7 screeds. By adding Durascreed to the mix, minimum screed thickness can be reduced to 35 mm for floating applications or 20 mm unbonded — saving materials and reducing floor build-up height.
Key Benefits
Application
Add one 1.3-litre container of Durascreed to the gauging water for every 2.5 × 25 kg bags of cement (62.5 kg). Mix the screed in the normal way using a forced-action mixer. Lay and compact using standard screeding techniques. The additive is compatible with all sharp sands and standard screed mixes.
Coverage
One 1.3-litre container treats 62.5 kg of cement. For a 50 mm floating screed at a typical mix design, one container covers approximately 3–4 m². A box of 4 containers treats 250 kg of cement, covering approximately 12–16 m² at 50 mm thickness.
